Hi SPIN Parents, we are starting out with a combined homework support + childminding to help you and your child(ren)! You will be able to get some respite and rest from 1000hrs/1230hrs to 1700hrs while your child can get some help with his/her homework while we provide lunch for your child.

Part 1 – Homework Support (1000hrs to 1200hrs) – Applicable for Primary School students only
We will have a group of JC students to help your child with Homework Support.
Please note that Homework Support is NOT Academic Tuition. Academic Tuition is for learning – tutors are tasked to teach the curriculum to the students.
Homework Support is to help deal with difficult homework questions that your child(ren) could not solve, and in the process reinforce concepts/correct the wrong understanding of the concepts.

Children are required to bring their homework or external assessment books to consult volunteers on difficult questions and do their homework in SPIN.
SPIN and the volunteers will not be providing materials for your child to do.

Subjects covered – English, Mathematics, Science only
Levels covered – P1 to P6 only

Intermission – Lunch Break (1200hrs to 1230hrs)
All lunch catered will be Halal and will not contain allergens that your child(ren) is/are allergic to.
Lunch is not provided for parents

Part 2 – Childminding (1230hrs to 1700hrs) – Applicable for all children (K1 to P6)
We have engaged NannyPro, a professional childminding agency, to meaningfully engage your child from 1230hrs to 1700hrs. NannyPro’s nannies will conduct a range of activities from arts to static activities to occupy your child(ren)’s time, so that you can get some rest and respite.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
1. This service is only available for SPIN Members and Alumni
2. For Homework Support, children are expected to bring their homework or external assessment books along to do and consult volunteers.
3. For parents who opted only for Homework Support, please pick your child at 1230hrs sharp
4. For parents who opted for Homework Support + Childminding, please pick your child at 1700hrs sharp. Late pickups will be subjected to a financial penalty payable to NannyPro.
5. All pick-ups and drop-offs are to be done by the parent in-person
